This is the first year we have gone to the Derby. We had a really good time. We went with my parents and we sat on the first row, (note: if going to a derby, believe me you do not want to sit on the first row!!) and in the 2nd heat we got hit with tons of dirt and rocks, it hurt really bad and my Mom was holding Garrett, we were so scared he got hit, but he just got really scared. Harper LOVED it, he was so funny watching the cars crashing, he was a little scared at first, but we told him it was okay for them to be crashing and then he was okay. We are planning on going next year, but not sitting on the front row!!

Sit on the side we were on, the dirt never hit anyone on our side, it looked pretty bad over there.
